U.C.M. Resita, the initiator of the first SMURD medical service in Banat

The year 2006 started for the company employees, with the purchasing of an latest generation ambulance, U.C.M. Resita employers meeting thus another promise made to the employees.

The new ambulance can interfere in case of emergency on all industrial areas of U.C.M. Resita, being fitted with pre-hospital intervention equipment.

The phone to this service will be taken by the internal Center for Emergency Call Taking over, by dialing 1111 or one of the following numbers 1377, 1384 or 2383.

The new ambulance represents the first step on what is going to be a private-public partnership between U.C.M. Reşiţa, County Council, City Council and Reşiţa County Hospital, to establish the future SMURD County Medical Center.

By SMURD U.C.M. Resita, the company is initiating a project addressed for the beginning to its employees, following to extend this service for all inhabitants of Caras-Severin County.
