U.C.M. Resita - financial results for the year 2004

The Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in U.C.M. Resita, that took place on April 7th 2005 at the company's headquarters, approved the financial positions for the year 2004. According to this situation, the turnover achieved by U.C.M. Resita during the last year was 6 % bigger than that of the year 2003. The company reached a net turnover over 923 billion ROL. The total incomes achieved by U.C.M. Resita within 2004 exceed 853 billion ROL.

By the end of last year, the company's available funds reached the highest level ever recorded within 2001-2004, being almost 100 % higher than the available funds recorded at the end of 2003, while the stocks were reduced by 6 % given the year 2003, leading to an optimization of the production flow and to a reduction of costs involved for their storage.
